Who is Required to Have a TN (Tennessee) Responsible Vendor Certificate?

This course is required for all clerks and managers who sell (ring up) wine in Liquor Stores, Grocery & Convenience Stores as well as Airports.

Anybody selling alcohol in a restaurant or an establishment where people consume the
alcohol on premise, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE! The Responsible Vendor On-Premise is for you.

This course is approved by TN ABC for clerks and managers working in Liquor Stores, Grocery & Convenience Stores and Airports.

  • TN ABC (Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission) requires this course to be at least 1 hour in length.
  • The course is self-paced and you can take it 24/7. You can exit the course at any time and come back and continue where you left off.
  • It has 5 sections Including, Introduction, Alcohol, Carding, Off-Premise Laws, and Exam
  • Passing score 70%.
  • Exam retakes are free
  • Must be renewed yearly.
